Geberit Sigma – The Ultimate Guide To Identify

Which Geberit Cistern Do I Have?

One of the most common questions we get is, “What flush plate do I need?” As I mentioned in our article on identifying Geberit Kappa cisterns, this question can always be answered by finding out which cistern you have.

Identifying the correct cistern and flush plate can be tricky. Many people move into homes where the previous owner installed the system. They often have no idea which cistern or flush plate is installed. To make things more complicated, Geberit makes four different cistern ranges, and the flush plates are not interchangeable. Knowing it’s a Geberit cistern won’t necessarily tell you which flush plate to buy.

However, there are key features you can look for to identify your Geberit cistern. In this guide, we’ll show you how to figure out if you have a Geberit Sigma cistern.

While I have your attention, if you find you have a Geberit Sigma cistern after reading this guide and are looking for a Geberit Sigma flush plate, be sure to check out our store where we sell our own range of UVO flush plates designed to work with Sigma cisterns, they offer a great low cost alternative .

The Flush Plate

If your flush plate is still installed, it can help identify your Geberit Sigma cistern.

If you are lucky , the code on the back of the flush plate will still be on .

You can see on this example the code is 115.770.11.5

Your code will be in the same format xxx.xxx.xx.x but maybe a different code.

You just need to type it into a search engine and it will reveal which flush plate you have.

Sigma 01

The Sigma 01 flush plate is made of ABS plastic withan easily identifiable design

It’s the most affordable in the Sigma range, offering a budget-friendly ,ABS plastic option to replace a damaged or missing plate.

What If I have no Flush Plate?

I have many emails from people who have no flush plate to check, so what do you do if you have no flush plate ?

Well ,fortunately there is still plenty you can look for even without the flush plate

This is what you will see if you have no flush plate.

You can remove the back plate and the white cover which covers the access to the cistern
